Summer Scent – Zara Rose Perfume 🌸

Hey everyone! 

I thought I’d share a quick post on the most recent summer perfume that I’ve been loving for this season. 

I already have a few summer favourites but this time around, I wanted a little change from my usual routine. Sadly, I had left this perfume behind before leaving for Spain last year, but after having caught a whiff of it again, am I glad I’ve been reunited with it! 😍

I love pink and I love roses.. this perfume is a combination of both!

If that wasn’t enough, this perfume comes in a pink colour liquid.. Yay! (Unfortunately you cannot see it here as it has pretty much been used up) *sigh* 

As you can see, it’s almost empty and the scent is exactly what I need to remind me of the beautiful summer days gone by. I have been using this a lot in the last month or so. Do you blame me?! Ha

It’s a lovely floral scent that isn’t at all ovepowering. I’ve never really purchased a perfume from Zara before but I will def be going back again as this has become one of my fave summer scents. Also, you cannot go wrong at £7.99! 

The bottle is very simple, it’s made of a thick glass with a black plastic cap. Nothing too fancy, but I quite like it as it makes a lovely handbag essential. It’s the ideal travel bottle size in my opinion. 

P.s The outer pink box is really cute though! 

Zara rose is a lovely floral every day wear scent, neither too strong, yet it lingers on throughout the day. It has a light enchanting English rose kinda smell,  which makes it perfect for warmer days and nights of the summer. Most certainly a safe choice to make!

As I’m no good with describing scents so here’s a little info from the official website for you; 

Top – Green notes, blackcurrant

Middle – Freesia, Peony, Rose

Base – Sandalwood, Musk 

I remember someone saying Zara perfumes make a great dupe for some of the popular fragrances out there.. If this is the case, I’d love to know.. 

I’m going to head over to Zara soon to sniff a few more, they make lovely presents and are ever so affordable too. What are your thoughts?
