I hope you’re all keeping well.
Gosh, quarantine had me watching so many YouTube haul videos lately and the most frequent one was that of Shein. As you may already know, I have shopped from Shein previously and it is incredibly addicting. It’s super affordable with lots of cute stuff that you can’t really find on the high street.
So, with all these Shein hauls coming at me I decided to cave in myself. Nooo why must this happen to me all the time. I had been so good this year. The problem is when you’re on these websites it’s incredibly difficult to just ‘browse’ only and not spend a full day looking at the gorgeous things online. Yep, I’m guilty of it. I put my hands up! 😁
So with a heavy heart and a low bank balance, I present to you a few pieces that I ended up ordering. It’s taking a little longer for the deliveries to arrive due to the present situation but I have to applaud Shein for its timely transactions. Also, their items do sell out rather quickly so if there’s something you like on their website, please do order it straightaway as I ended up losing quite a few items as I kept them in the basket for too long and they had been snapped! *Sigh*
So without further ado, here’s a few things that I’ve ordered..
You guys will know by now that I absolutely love my dream-catchers. They’re so boho, whimsical and just add a touch of magic to any space.
I particularly likes this one for my baby girl’s room. It’s also a light up one which is rather nice to have on at nights. I will be styling all these pieces when I rceieve my order so I can let you know how I would style it in my home. I’m really looking forward to it.
Fun-fact – I love collecting decor from all parts of the world I travel to. It’s a little memorabilia to remind me of the beautiful time I’ve spent in that country. My house is decorated with memorabilia from all my precious travels. Also, I love that its not your typical souvenir but adds a more personal touch to your living space. It’s also a great conversation starter for when anyone enquires about your pieces.
Pom pom light garland –
Staying on the pink theme, I also had to order this pink pom pom light garland. It just looks super cute.
I think it’ll add a lovely subtle colour to the baby room. I’m thinking of wrapping it around the cot or even on the shelf. I can’t wait to style this one. I don’t know how long it will be as sometimes the lengths and sizes are a little hit and miss with shein. Even though they do have the size chart but I’m all honesty I’m really bad with measurements so I have no idea what to expect. Numbers and I just don’t get on at all.. I’m hoping it’ll turn out well. We’ll have to wait and see. Ha!
Leaf garland –
This leaf vine garland is for my hanging closet rail. I thought it’d be a great addition to add to it. It’s a white clothing rail from IKEA so the green leaf lights will look really elegant against it.
I’ve only ordered one piece, though I’m worrying it may not be long enough. Should I have ordered a couple perhaps?.. However, when it does arrive I’ll be able to get an idea. I’ve seen these everywhere on Instagram and YouTube home decor videos so I think it’ll look quite lovely. What do you think?
Holographic drop earrings –
Please don’t judge me but I love everything sparkly and holographic. I came across these earrings and even though they may seem a little over the top for some, I couldn’t resist putting them in my basket.
Spain is full of fiesta’s and I thought these would be perfect for the carnivals. I don’t think we’ll get any this year but hopefully I can enjoy wearing them next year when the Spanish festivals are in full swing. They’re bright but also subtle at the same time due to it being holographic. You guys know what I mean right?
Holographic hair slide –
Ok talking about holographic, this little hair slide came under the recommended section.
I mean how cute is this? I know I don’t need any more accessories in my life but yet again I caved in. Yes, I know I know I said I was going to be really good this year. Darn it Shein, why must you do this to me? It was just too cute to miss.. *Sighs heavily*
On the same note, I’ve been looking for this crystal shard hair pin for the longest. I was going to DIY myself (as they’re extortionately priced online!) one until I came across it on the shein website.
Unfortunately, it has been sold out. However, if you do like it then please keep refreshing the page as I know they do re-stock their items a lot faster. There were variety of colours and so I had to pick this turquoise (pictured) and a pink one. They will look super cute in a braided hairstyle or a loose bun. It’s a very bohimeian piece and I’m loving it.
Floral graphic tee –
Now, I love florals and a white tee so when I came across this graphic item, it was just so me!
I can imagine wearing this over a pleated skirt for a feminine look or even over jeans and a biker jacket for a more rugged look. It’s quite a versatile piece and I love how feminine or masculine you can make it look.
Black hair bow –
Guys, if you follow me on Instagram then you’ll know I’ve been obsessing over Paris.
Fun fact – Bordeaux in France is only half an hour away from us as we live in Northern Spain. We live very close to the border so it’s one of those places where you can snap uour finger and bam you’re in France.
We were suppose to go last Christmas but as I was expecting my little one and her being my first baby, I just didn’t want to risk it with travels. So hubby and I decided that we’ll leave it till a later date. However, I’m not sure why but I’ve just had this massive urge to spend my Christmas festivities there. It’s so magical that time of the year and I thought its be the ideal trip as a family.
Oh no, I digress again.. Sorry! So this little bow reminded me of the Parisian vibe and I thought it’d look so cool and elegant over pretty dresses. I also have this specific shot in mind outside the Eiffel Tower that I would love (been nagging hubby about it so much!!) and this bow will play an important role in it.. Haha! I know I don’t make any sense but I’ll share my inspiration pic over on my insta-stories so please do head over if you don’t follow me already. I’d love to connect with you all there.
Moon phase print –
If you’ve been following me right from the beginning then you’ll be sick of hearing me say that I absolutely love all things cosmic.
This print comes in two colour; black and white. I ended up choosing the white one as it matches my home decor as all my wall frames are in white with grey and pink tones to it. I adore the black one too. I wanted to buy both but I decided to go for the one with the white back drop as it matched my decor.
I’m thinking of placing this print over on the wall on my vanity table as I think it’ll look really pretty. I also have a white frame at home which I’ll use to frame this print in. It looks really nice in the picture and I really hope I’m not disappointed when it arrives.
The reviews do mention how some of the prints (I think the ones with writing) are quite blurry and so I’m really hoping this isn’t the case. I adore the print and it would be a shame if this were to be the case. However, I will report back when I do receive it so you all know before placing any orders. I think it’s always nice to have someone review it first so you know you’re not wasting away your dollar.
However, I will mention my experience with Shein has always been pleasant. Of course, some things are always hit and a miss but when you read the reviews for their items on the website you can’t really go wrong. Prople are very honest with their feedback and I think it really helps when you’re deciding what to buy.
So what are your favourite items from this post? And have you placed any orders with Shein before? I’d love to know.. Please do share your anectodes, I love hearing them..
P. S – It’s scorching hot here in Spain, we seem to have had a heatwave recently. The weather has been beautiful (over 30 degrees) and I am not complaining one bit. Look after yourselves and stay safe!
