How to: Coco Chanel Inspired Flower Vase (with stickers) 🌿🌸

Hey everyone!

If you are like me, you probably have dozens of inexpensive vases around the house from florist deliveries.

I think flowers, candles and fairy lights add such a cosy and warm vibe to any living space. I was in desperate need to spice up my room (and blogging space!) with some floral arrangements. The beauty of this project is that you can find a lot of these items in your home itself. If you have any decanters that no longer serve the purpose then you have the perfect item to create this project with.

The inspiration came when I was browsing the Etsy website a couple of weeks ago. I noticed how many Chanel inspired DIY vases there were. I was very close to purchasing one as they were super cute (especially now that I’m re-designing my beauty corner) but the price was, hmm let’s say a little over budget. They ranged anything from Β£25 – Β£35+ (for one!) which I thought was a little too pricey. That’s where my creativeness kicked in and the idea to make my own came about. So, I did notice how these could be created at home with minimal effort and money. Why spend so much money on something you can create at the comfort of your home with no extra effort. You only need a few basic essentials and you’re ready to become a DIY domestic goddess!

So if you want to see how we can create these cute little decors, then look no further..

Things you need:

* Acrylic/Glass Vase

* Artificial flowers (or real ones!)

* Chanel inspired stickers

* Ribbon/Bows/Pearls (optional)

* Scissors

This project is so easy to recreate and very self explanatory. However, I’ll still go through the steps so you can all follow it through. *wink*

Firstly, you need a clear glass vase. I prefer using the square cut but it’s totally your choice. Once you have the vase of your choice, you can begin to add the sticker on it. There’s many Chanel inspired stickers so choose whichever one you like.

I ordered mine from Etsy and it only cost me a couple of pounds. You can also print yours, depending on your preference (size, colour etc) as it’ll be much easier. Due to it being a Chanel inspired post, all my stickers are Chanel based, however you can print any fashion brand house name you want. Don’t they look so adorable!

Once you’ve selected your preferred sticker, apply it to the centre of the vase. I have printed a selection of white, black and rose gold ones. Depending on whether you want a lighter or darker floral arrangement, use the coloured stickers accordingly.

As I decided to go with the white sticker, therefore I thought white and pink flowers would look really nice against it.

As they’re faux flowers, therefore you don’t really need to do anything else. If you did wanted to spruce it up a little more, you could add pearls, glitter or anything else in the vase (especially if it’s a clear one) to add some drama to it. I love how you can switch it up whenever you want. All of this for under a tenner! Bingo!

Red, yellow flowers will look really elegant against the black sticker. If you want a softer look, then use pale pink, light orange, or even white for the white inspired sticker. Go with your gut feeling, it’s always right!

Oh and if you decide to go with roses, make sure you cut the stems diagonally. Remove all unwanted leaves. You can also add sugar in the water as it helps to keep them fresher for longer.

Top tip: if you wanted to add a little colour to the water, mix some colouring. It’ll look absolutely gorgeous! 🌸

Next, you can either leave it as it is. It looks pretty adorable. I think these vases look so cute sitting on top of your vanity table or any beauty space.

However, I decided to add a little bit of Chanel ribbon to my second vase. I had brought a few products from my work place and was left with a little ribbon from it. It’s a different shaped vase and I thought it would be perfect for its final touch. What do you reckon?

Voila! There you go.. Now you have some beautiful glamorous floral vases for your home (or even office!). Aren’t they so cute?! And easy to make. I told you so!

Here are a few more inspirations for you.. Do let me know what you thought of these DIY floral arrangements.. have you tried these before? I’d love to know

  10. Hi love, thanks so much for stopping by and liking the DIY. Sadly the lady who sells the stickers on Etsy has closed down her store since so they’re not available anymore πŸ₯Ί
